The
Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international Catholic organization of
lay persons seeking to help those who are suffering in spirit of justice,
compassion and charity through person-to-person involvement. Vincentians are
called to serve the poor and suffering in teams of two, meeting them in their
own environment, extending comfort, friendship, spiritual and physical
support. Where resources permit, financial assistance is extended. Members
strive to live Christ's Gospel by loving our neighbors and ministering among
them. All who are called to spread Christ’s love by helping those who are
less fortunate are encouraged to become Vincentians. The only requirement is
to be willing to participate and to be committed to work for the needy. The
Society invites donations of which can be provided to those in need.
Your contributions of your dollars enable the Society to continue its
marvelous works of charity in our community. A special second collection is
taken at each Mass the 5th Sunday of the Month. All members of the Parish are
welcome to join the Society.
